I’m a Type 1 diabetic, diagnosed in June of ’03, at twenty-three. I have a blue Minimed 712 insulin pump. My husband and I are living in Bellingham, Washington. We have two delightful cats, Kitimer and Mr. Business.

Hi. I found your website on “Aiming For Grace” which I read every now and then. I have been type 1 diabetic for 21 years and I am a freelance writer, living in Charleston, SC with my family. I’m writing a book about diabetes and women and want to compile stories from women who are living with diabetes, I want to create a place to share experiences, challenges etcetc. I wonder if you would be interested in sharing a story? Let me know, I’m just getting started and am excited about the potential.
Thanks,
amy mercer
